He obtained his B.S.E. in Engineering Physics in 2000 at U of Michigan. He had the exciting experience as an undergraduate student to participate in an REU (Research Experience for Undergrads) Program at Cornell University which helped to heighten my interest in engineering research. His research included radiation detection development and implementation. He worked on the coplanar grid CdZnTe gamma-ray detector project.
