Bennett joined the group in September 2014. His research focuses on algorithms for data acquisition, data processing and event reconstruction for CdZnTe-based imaging systems. He also develops algorithms designed for performing quantitative analyses, including system dead time and sensitivity characterization for Compton imaging and coded aperture imaging modalities. Bennett is funded by the Consortium for Verification Technology led by the University of Michigan.
